NCAA Tournament : March Madness 2016 Favorite Teams

March has arrived and this march couldn't be madder, since all the teams are struggling hard to solidify their position in NCAA Tournament. Everyone is busy making their March Madness 2016 picks, but in true sense this is a season that actually holds no favorites and is basically it’s anyone's tournament.

But if the previous records is to be believed, March madness has always been a little rough on the favorites. According to some analysis  even the most favorite team of the tournament has 20 to 25 percent probability of winning the tournament i.e. even the team that is at the top position is also  3 to 4 times likely to losing the tournament..
The NCAA 2016 Tournament is quickly approaching and the field of 68 teams that will have a chance to win it all is starting to become clearer. Though the bubble teams are still fighting for their spot, the top teams are already locked to be part of the tournament.
After announcement of early odds of March madness, North Carolina tops the list to win the NAAC tournament. Sportsbooks has given North Carolina 6/1 odds, followed by Kentucky at 8/1.

Kansas and Michigan teams are the co favorites to be cutting down the net in Houston.

Michigan State has been phenomenal this season apart from the mid-season rough patch, which ultimately cost them the Big Ten regular season crown.

Also talking about The Spartans, they  are one of the most well rounded teams in the country as they rank inside the top 25 in points for, and  points against,. They also have the best all-around player in the nation.

After the updated odds the  Kentucky Wildcats took the top spot on the to win the 2016 NCAA Tournament at +600 odds, and  the Duke Blue Devils  slipped to the second position on the list  at +700 odds  to win a second straight tournament title.

Oklahoma currently sits at +700 odds, just edging the earlier predicted Final Four opponents, at number 9 North Carolina at +750 and the number 6 Kansas Jayhawks at +1000. Coming in the number position is 8 Michigan State Spartans, followed by number 2 Maryland and number 4 Iowa Hawkeyes (19-4) and Number 1 is Villanova.
The Wildcats, powered by freshman guard Jamal Murray's 18.5 points per game, have suffered six losses already but also owns critical wins over the Duke and Louisville.
